Gentle care for small details
Care / Textile Care
A little gentle handling helps décor magnets stay ready for the everyday surfaces and small moments they are meant to brighten.

Everyday magnet care
Handle magnets with clean, dry hands and place them carefully on a suitable magnetic surface. Lift rather than drag a magnet when moving it, particularly on finished appliances or painted metal. Keep the piece away from excessive moisture, prolonged direct heat, abrasive cleaners, and rough surfaces that could affect its finish or the surface beneath it.
Do not soak a magnet, expose it to heat, or scrub it with a hard or abrasive material. If light surface cleaning is needed, start with a soft, dry cloth and the least invasive approach. Avoid harsh chemicals and do not use a cleaning method that could loosen components, affect color, or saturate textile details.
As with many small décor pieces, placement matters. Test gently on a discrete area if you are concerned about a particular appliance or surface. Keep magnets away from electronics, sensitive surfaces, and environments where moisture or heat may create a concern.
Textile care for fabric house magnets
Some ECLIPSE GIFTS offerings include fabric house magnets. These are textile-accent décor magnets, not garments. ECLIPSE GIFTS does not offer clothing products, and this section is not apparel-care guidance.
For a fabric house magnet, use a soft, dry cloth to lightly dust or gently dab the textile surface. Do not soak, machine wash, dry clean, iron, steam, use high heat, or rub the fabric hard. Avoid allowing water or cleaning solution to penetrate the textile or magnet backing. If a mark cannot be lifted with very gentle dry attention, stop rather than escalating to vigorous cleaning.
Textile fibers and decorative details can respond differently to friction, moisture, light, and household cleaners. Store or display these pieces away from damp locations and intense heat. If you have a specific care question, email [email protected] before trying a treatment.
Safety first
Magnets are décor objects, not toys. Small magnets or components can create a swallowing hazard. Keep all magnets away from babies, young children, and anyone who may put small objects in their mouth. If a magnet or component is swallowed or suspected to have been swallowed, seek urgent medical advice.
Use good judgment around pets, children, and delicate household surfaces. Inspect an item before use if it has been dropped or damaged, and discontinue use if a component appears loose. For order questions, browse Collections or contact us through Contact. If an item from a confirmed order has a concern, review Returns & Exchanges before sending it anywhere.
